As part of the implementation of the federal state forest control (supervision), forest protection and in order to achieve the main indicators of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”, state forest inspectors of the Republic of Tatarstan carry out control measures in forests, scheduled (raid) inspections of forest plots.
“The frequency of forest patrols increases during the fire season, taking into account the fire hazard class of forests and weather conditions,” said Alexei Mosunov, head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Recall that in 2022, the fire season in the forests was opened from April 25. First of all, the most fire hazardous forest areas are patrolled. These are places of mass recreation of citizens, coniferous young growths, etc.
According to Aleksey Mosunov, since the beginning of the year, state forest inspectors have carried out more than 15,000 patrols in the forests. 32 violations of forest legislation requirements were revealed, including violations of fire safety rules in forests.
