Today, the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District held a meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District. The meeting was held via videoconference chaired by the head of the department Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forest management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and the head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov.
During the meeting, issues of monitoring the fire hazard situation, conducting aviation patrols of the forest fund, carrying out a set of measures for fire-prevention arrangement of forests, etc. were discussed.
“In connection with the increase in the fire danger class of forests, I ask you to strengthen control over the forest fire situation,” said Alexander Ornatsky, head of the department. “All measures must be taken to minimize the possibility of forest fires.”
