In municipal districts, preparations for the V Meeting of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” are in full swing. So, yesterday, on July 19, the employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky Forestry” met with pupils of the school forestry “Heirs of Nature” of the MBOU “Leskhozsky secondary school” of the Arsky district. During the meeting, forest protection engineer Gazinur Zinnatullin, reforestation engineer Enje Mukhametzyanova and site foreman Marcel Nizamutdinov reminded students about the species of trees and shrubs growing in the republic, species of birds and pests of the forest, equipment used in forestry and technologies for planting forest cultures. Particular attention was paid to the digitalization of the forest industry, the peculiarities of using a measuring fork, altimeter and compass.
Such a lesson was also conducted by specialists of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kamsky forestry”. Within its framework, the local forester of the Shemorbashsky district forestry Rafit Khusneev and the foreman Irek Yarullin told the participants of the school forestry “Azbuka Zemli” of the MBOU “Usalinsky secondary school” of the Mamadyshsky district about the basic terms and concepts of forestry, ecology and biology, reminded about the types of forestry, forest protection and forestry works, etc.
