Today, the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov held a “Lesson in numbers” on the topic “Industry 4.0” for participants in the health and leisure institution named after M. Jalil MBU OMK Istok of Zelenodolsky district. The event was organized as part of the Year of Digitalization in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Industry 4.0 or the fourth industrial revolution is the unification of industry and digital technologies, leading to the creation of digital industries or smart factories and factories, where all devices, machines, products and people communicate with each other through digital technologies and the Internet,” said Ilgizar Zaripov. “The term appeared relatively recently, in 2011 in Germany.”
The First Deputy Minister told the children about the principles of Industry 4.0, its technologies and elements, etc.
“Many technologies have been successfully applied in practice for a long time. Among them are augmented reality glasses, a modeling and visualization module, and self-healing equipment. But it is the combination of all elements into one integral system that will allow us to develop the concept of “Industry 4.0” and provide a new level of production efficiency,” said Ilgizar Zaripov. “How the fourth industrial revolution will be implemented in reality is unknown, but it will allow reaching a new level of human development and quality of life. It will change people's attitudes and people's attitudes.”
