In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues on caring for young animals. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of July 27 of this year, they were carried out on an area of 683 hectares.
In total, in the current year thinning in young forests will be carried out on an area of 2.7 thousand hectares.

Clarification - thinning in a young plantation, aimed at improving its species and quality composition and growth conditions of the main species. It is carried out up to 5-10 years of age, depending on the forest-forming species, the productivity of plantations and the forest zone.
Cleaning is thinning in a young stand, aimed at regulating the density of the stand and improving the growth conditions of the main species, as well as continuing the formation of the composition, carried out after the clarification period until the age of the stand is 20 years old.
