The 5th Gathering of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” opened in the Kukmorsky municipal district
Today, on the basis of GBPOU “Lubyansky Forestry College” in the village of Lubyany, Kukmorsky Municipal District, the V Meeting of School Forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” was opened. The event gathered 93 people from 31 school forestries of the republic.
As part of the first day, a “Lesson of numbers” was held. First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov gave a lecture to the students. He told the children about Internet security, virtual and augmented reality technologies, the client-centric state model, the principles of client-centricity and Industry 4.0.
In addition, the First Deputy Minister focused on the digital transformation of the forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Since 2020, active work has been carried out in the republic on the digitalization of the forest industry. A geographic information system for the forest fund, a service for monitoring and controlling the state of the forest fund based on remote sensing data, and an accounting system for the forestry complex were developed and implemented,” Ilgizar Zaripov said. “These tools make it possible to automate activities for the preparation of sectoral reports, accounting and management of forest resources, to timely identify changes in the territory of the forest fund, including illegal logging of forest plantations, areas with forest pathology.”
The First Deputy Minister noted that a project was also implemented to transfer public services provided by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan into electronic form. 13 public services have been digitized.
“Currently, as part of the digital transformation of the forest complex, work is underway to create a digital database of forest fund lands, purchase quadrocopters and modernize the IT infrastructure of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions,” Ilgizar Zaripov concluded.
Afterwards, the schoolchildren took part in the interactive intellectual game “Forest Digital Quiz”. Within its framework, students demonstrated their knowledge in the field of forestry, biology, ecology, the history of the development of the school forestry movement, cinema, painting, music, literature, etc.
“This is my first time participating in a rally, I like everything, it’s very interesting,” Vyacheslav Ilyasov, a member of the Ekobortsy school forestry of the Krasnoborskaya secondary school, shared his impressions. “Tomorrow is the main competition “Young Foresters”. In preparing for it, we tried to take into account all the moments. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.”
A training aimed at personal growth “Everything is in your hands” was organized for the heads of school forestries. Teachers were able to realize their capabilities, identify priority goals in the professional field and the conditions for achieving them.
Tomorrow, July 28, the official opening ceremony of the V Meeting of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” will take place.
