Today, the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District discussed preparations for the autumn silvicultural season 2022. The meeting was chaired by the head of the department Alexander Ornatsky. The event was attended by representatives of the forest management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov.
During the meeting, issues of soil preparation, forestry equipment and the availability of standard planting material were considered.
Brief presentations were made by representatives of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Saratov Region, the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and others.
Recall that within the framework of the autumn silvicultural season in the Republic of Tatarstan, it is planned to lay protective forest plantations on agricultural land on an area of 30 hectares, to prepare sites for the creation of next year forest crops on an area of 1404.5 hectares and to prepare at least 20 thousand kg of seeds main forest-forming species.
