In the Republic of Tatarstan, patrolling of the territory of the forest fund has been intensified due to the high class of fire danger in the forests.
“Monitoring of the fire hazard situation is carried out by ground and air methods,” said Ilgizar Zaripov, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “In order to detect fires and prevent violations of forest legislation, the frequency of patrolling forests has been increased, and preventive work has also been strengthened. In general, the number of patrols for 7 months of 2022 increased by 16% compared to the same period last year.”
“Aviation monitoring covers an area of 1,224,000 hectares. To date, 34 air patrols have been carried out with a total duration of 191 flight hours,” added Ilgizar Zaripov.
We remind you that according to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 08.08.2022 No. 771, the Republic of Tatarstan introduced a restriction on the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them from August 9 to 21 calendar days. Restrictions are set for forests located on the lands of the forest fund of the republic.
