Employees of the Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan completed field surveys to assess the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of forest plantations during reforestation

Employees of the branch of FBU “Roslesozashchita” “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” completed field surveys to assess the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of forest plantations during reforestation. The objects of work were areas classified as lands on which forests are located in 2019-2020.

The surveys were carried out on the territory of Buinsky, Tetyushsky, Bolgarsky and Agryzsky forestries. In the process of work, the number of viable trees of the main species, density, average age and stock of plantations were determined.

The work was carried out in accordance with the plan on a total area of 110 hectares. A total of 35 sites were surveyed.
