Specialists of the Menzelinsky forestry are harvesting seeds of silver birch
Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinsky forestry” are harvesting seeds of silver birch. “Currently, work is being carried out in section 51 of quarter 1 of the Menzelinsky district forestry, 12 people are involved. In total, 150 kilograms of seeds have been collected to date. In the near future, we plan to send the seeds for examination to the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan,” commented Airat Mingazov, head of the forest ranger of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinsky forestry”.
According to him, the harvested seeds will be used for reforestation and sown in the basic forest nursery. Recall that these works are carried out within the framework of the regional project “Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the national project “Ecology”.
