Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky forestry” are preparing for the autumn silvicultural season of 2022. Within its framework, work will be carried out on the territory of the forest fund of the Bugulma forestry to supplement forest crops on an area of 42 hectares, prepare the soil for next year's forest crops on an area of 52 hectares, and at least 60 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species will be harvested.
“Part of the work on the addition will be carried out using planting material grown in 4 greenhouses,” said reforestation engineer Nurfiya Ibragimova. “This year we sowed birch seeds in early May, then applied mineral fertilizers and carried out a set of measures to protect plants from diseases. The other day, polyethylene was removed from greenhouses in order to harden seedlings.”
“We are also preparing for the All-Russian action “Let's Save the Forest”. It is expected that the action will be held at 2 sites near the village of Zelenaya Roshcha and in the Park of Culture and Leisure in Bugulma,” Nurfiya Ibragimova added.
