The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed issues of preparation for the autumn silvicultural season of 2022

Today, the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference on preparations for the autumn silvicultural season of 2022. It was held by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, head of the department of reforestation and afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Galiev, heads of forestries of forestries and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.

During the meeting, the issues of preparing silvicultural machinery and equipment, carrying out work on laying protective forest plantations, promoting natural reforestation, preparing the soil for forest crops in 2023, harvesting seeds of the main forest-forming species, etc. were considered.

Ilgizar Zaripov said that this year the forestry specialists will have to carry out additional work to supplement forest plantations on an area of 1.1 thousand hectares. “In the near future, changes will be made to the state task for 2022,” he said. “All work within the framework of the autumn silvicultural season must be carried out in accordance with the established requirements in the optimal agrotechnical terms.”
