114 school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan opened their doors to children in the new 2022-2023 academic year. The associations are aimed at shaping the ecological consciousness of the younger generation.
“We are actively developing this area. Now the number of pupils is 1,500 people,” said the head of the department of forest reproduction and afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Galiev. “A course is being implemented to improve the quality and increase the efficiency of work with students, the development of modern educational programs, the search for new types and formats of events.”
In the 2022-2023 academic year, students will take part in the environmental campaigns “Save the Forest”, “Clean Coast”, “Feed the Birds in Winter”, “Live, Spruce”, “Give the Birds a Home!”, “Garden of Memory”, “Protect the Forest from fire”, “Pure forests of Tatarstan”, “Take care of nature, it is beautiful!”, “Live, spring, live!”, “Hand over waste paper - save the tree”, “Batteries, give up!”, “Ekovesna”, will hold events for the Day forest workers, the Day of Reserves and National Parks, the International Day of Forests, the Day of Birds, Victory Day, etc.
