Acceptance of applications for the competition for the National Ecological Prize named after V.I. Vernadsky. Its main goal is to identify and popularize implemented projects in the field of environmental protection and environmental safety, the introduction of the best available technologies, the formation of environmental culture and the development of environmental education based on the ideas of Academician V.I. Vernadsky.

The competition is held in nine categories:

– “Science for sustainable development”;

– “Sustainable energy”;

– “Sustainable production and consumption”;

– “Sustainable cities”;

– “Conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity”;

– “Enlightenment as a way to sustainable development”;

– “Startup: universities as centers for creating innovations for industry”;

– “The contribution of the media to sustainable development”;

– “Children's and youth ecological prize”.

Individuals and legal entities (registered on the territory of the Russian Federation), groups of individuals (groups of authors), and government agencies can take part in the competition. The composition of a group of individuals should not exceed 10 people. No more than one project is accepted from one participant. Only projects whose practical implementation began no more than five years ago are allowed to participate in the competition.

Applications are accepted until November 15th.
