On the territory of the forest fund of the Mamadyshsky forestry, work is underway to clean up illiquid wood. “Reducing the fire hazard class in the forests made it possible to intensify work in this direction,” said Rail Salakhov, director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Mamadyshsky forestry”. “At present, activities are being carried out in quarter 29 of the Sokolsky district forestry, in quarter 32 of the Kumazansky district forestry and in quarter 17 of the Nurminsky district forestry, 21 people are involved.”
“In total, this year the harvesting of illiquid timber will be carried out on an area of 70 hectares,” he added. “The work will be completed by the end of September.”
