Today, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a preventive measure as part of the federal state forest control (supervision) in relation to PJSC Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin. The event was held via videoconference with the participation of representatives of the company and heads of forestry forestries of the republic.

First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and Head of the Department of State Forestry Control and Supervision Airat Akhmerov made presentations.

Ilgizar Zaripov recalled that in accordance with the Federal Law of July 31, 2020 No. 248-FZ “On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation”, the focus is currently on the prevention of violations. “A preventive visit in relation to PJSC TATNEFT is being carried out in connection with the classification as a significant risk,” he noted.

Airat Akhmerov dwelled on the requirements of the forest legislation for PJSC TATNEFT named after V.D. Shashin. In particular, this is compliance with the terms of lease agreements for forest plots, submission of forest declarations, reports, implementation of measures for fire-fighting arrangement of forests, compliance with sanitary safety measures in forests, etc.

“When carrying out work in forest areas, it is necessary to keep the territory free from combustible materials, to lay mineralized firebreaks at least 1.4 meters wide,” he said. “In addition, during the fire season, right-of-ways and security zones along pipelines passing through forest areas should be free from combustible materials.”

In conclusion, Airat Akhmerov answered questions about the biological reclamation of forest fund lands, the provision of services by subordinate institutions of the Ministry, etc.
