In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of September 9 this year, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out on an area of 0.5 thousand hectares, including the harvesting of illiquid timber - on 336 hectares. High rates of work are demonstrated by employees of the Educational and Experimental Sabinsky, Mamadyshsky and Leninogorsky forestries of the republic.
Recall that sanitary and recreational measures are part of a complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of plantations, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
