First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov met with Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Chuvashia Elena Dymza
Today First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov met with a delegation from the Chuvash Republic headed by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Chechen Republic Elena Dymza. The meeting was attended by heads and specialists of structural divisions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Chuvashia.
Having greeted the guests, Ilgizar Zaripov briefed the members of the delegation on the state of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, he said that the total area of the republic's lands occupied by forests is 1 million 268 thousand hectares, the forest cover is 17.5%.
“The forest complex management system is represented by the Ministry and 64 subordinate institutions,” Ilgizar Zaripov said. “The total number of employees in the forest industry is 2.5 thousand people.”
Elena Dymza thanked those present for the warm welcome. She spoke about the areas of activity of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Chuvashia, the digitalization of the forest industry, ongoing environmental campaigns, etc.
Also, within the framework of the meeting, issues of the implementation of the Federal Law of July 29, 2017 No. 280-FZ, the implementation of federal state forest control (supervision), the protection of forests from fires, their protection from pests and diseases, etc. were discussed.
