Registration of student teams - participants of the “Forest All-Around” is open

From October 3 to October 7, 2022, the Volga State Technological University in the city of Yoshkar-Ola (the Republic of Mari El) will host the All-Russian competition among students of colleges, technical schools and universities of the forestry profile “Forest All-Around”.

Teams of educational institutions will compete for the title of the best in acquired forestry skills.

“At the Forest All-Around, the children will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired during the training, as well as exchange experiences. The holding of these competitions undoubtedly contributes to improving the quality of education of the participants,” commented Mikhail Klinov, Deputy Head of Rosleskhoz.

Teams will compete in four competitive stages:

- “Basic work in the cutting area”, “Allotment and taxation of the cutting area in mature forest stands”, “Reproduction of forests”, “Imitation of extinguishing a forest fire” - for technical schools and colleges;

- “Forest protection”, “Casation of a forest plot and appointment of measures”, “Forest reproduction”, “Imitation of forest fire extinguishing” - for universities.

The winners of the competition will receive diplomas from Rosleskhoz and valuable gifts.

Requirements for the composition of the teams: up to 3 students from an educational organization studying in the forest profile, aged up to 22 years (inclusive), one accompanying team leader/representative of the teaching staff.
