Inventory of forest cultures is carried out in Tatarstan
These days, specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate institutions - forestries are conducting an inventory of completed reforestation activities on the territory of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The purpose of the inventory is to obtain information on the area and condition of forest plantations, determine the effectiveness of reforestation work, assign measures to improve the condition of forest plantations, transfer them to forested lands and introduce young stands into the category of valuable tree plantations,” said the head of the reforestation and afforestation department. Ministry Timur Galiev.
“Also, based on the results of the inventory, it will become known how much standard planting material is available for the silvicultural campaign in 2023,” Timur Galiev added. “The end of the inventory is scheduled for November 15.”
