Tatarstan received additional funding from the federal budget for reforestation as part of the national project “Ecology”
The Republic of Tatarstan received additional funding in the amount of 3 million rubles from the federal budget for reforestation within the framework of the national project “Ecology”. Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the allocation of subventions to the regions to increase the reforestation area for 2022 and for the planning period of 2023 and 2024. signed by Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.
“The allocated funds will be used to carry out activities to supplement forest crops on an area of 1,100 hectares,” said Ilgizar Zaripov, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “In general, all work is being carried out according to the schedule, the last type of activity is being completed - promoting natural reforestation.”
Recall that in total in 2022, funds in the amount of 111.5 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the implementation of the regional project “Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”, including for increasing the volume of reforestation - 89.5 million rubles. The planned reforestation area for the current year is 3619.1 ha.
In total, during the period of the project from 2019 to 2022, reforestation was carried out on an area of 15,127 hectares.
