Pupils of the school forestry “Green Island” MBOU “Lyceum named after V.V. Karpov” helped in the collection of acorns

Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolsky Experimental Forestry” have begun harvesting seeds of English oak. The next event, which took place on the territory of the Zelenodolsk district forestry of the Zelenodolsk forestry, was attended by pupils of the school forestry “Green Island” MBOU “Lyceum named after V.V. Karpov”.

In total, students and specialists harvested 40 kg of acorns.

“The guys annually help us in collecting acorns. First of all, such actions are aimed at fostering a caring attitude towards the forest,” said the director of the forestry Ilmir Shagivaliev. “There is also a focus on career guidance, schoolchildren acquire practical skills in harvesting seeds of forest plants.”
