The Kazan Digital Week forum has opened in Kazan. Within its framework, an exhibition of projects in the IT field is being held. The exposition was visited today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maxim Parshin and others.
On the platform of the forum, ongoing projects in the field of digitalization of the forest industry are also presented. First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov told the participants about the results and priority tasks for the coming period.
At the plenary session of the forum, President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in digital transformation. “This result has been achieved thanks to the systematic work of recent years,” he said.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, 125 socially significant services were transferred to electronic format last year. “By the end of this year, all other services will be transferred,” he assured.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized that a lot of work is being done in Tatarstan to increase the digitalization of key industries. For example, the e-education system, which has been operating in the republic for 10 years, is constantly being improved.
“A large project is being implemented on e-health. On the basis of the Republican Clinical Hospital, for the first time in Russia, the procedure for providing medical care in accordance with international standards will be fully digitized,” the head of the republic noted.
He recalled that 2022 was declared the Year of Digitalization in Tatarstan. “Digital technologies cover more and more areas of the economy, improve the quality of life of our citizens and the competitiveness of businesses,” he concluded.
Recall that the Kazan Digital Week forum will last until September 24. The forum will host the IV industry championship in the field of information technology Digital Skills, as well as more than 120 events in ten areas: round tables, conferences, thematic sections, etc.
