Ilgizar Zaripov: “The Republican campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” is aimed at creating a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in the forests and the formation of an ecological culture of the population”
Today in the Republic of Tatarstan, a mass cleaning of the forest fund was organized as part of the republican environmental action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. The territory of the Stolbishchensky district forestry of the Prigorodnoye forestry became the central platform. The action was attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny Forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Training and Experimental Prigorodny Forestry”.
“Forests perform the most important protective, water protection, economic and social functions, and participate in maintaining the ecological balance of the region. Protecting the forest is the duty and obligation of every person,” said the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. “Therefore, first of all, the republican action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” is aimed at the formation of an ecological culture and the development of a caring attitude towards nature. Secondly, of course, the goal is to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in the forests.”
“Today, the action is taking place in all municipal districts of the republic. It is expected that more than 10 thousand people will become its participants,” added Ilgizar Zaripov. “The autumn stage of the action will last until November 13.”
In total, the participants of the action collected 2 cubic meters of solid domestic waste at this site. In general, in the Republic of Tatarstan, solid waste, dead wood and fallen trees were collected and removed in the amount of 3 thousand cubic meters.
For reference. The autumn stage of the Republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” started on September 12 and will last until November 12 of this year.
As a result of the spring stage of the action, which took place from April 18 to June 18, 2.4 thousand cubic meters of solid domestic waste were collected and removed from the forest fund of the republic, 3.2 thousand cubic meters of dead wood and dead wood were piled up for rotting. Also, the specialists of the forest industry have repaired more than 750 full houses, information boards and places of recreation for citizens living in the forests.
