The GBU RT “Kzyl-Yulduzsky forestry” is harvesting seeds of the main forest-forming species

In the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tajikistan “Kzyl-Yulduzsky Forestry” the harvesting of seeds of the main forest-forming species is carried out. “Currently, there is a collection of cones of common spruce, 5 people are involved in the work,” said Albert Zakirov, director of the forestry. “The yield is average, to date, 1.2 tons of cones have been collected.”

“We are also completing the harvesting of birch seeds, 10 kilograms of seeds have been collected,” added Albert Zakirov. “The seeds will be sent for testing to the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan and sown in the basic forest nursery.”
