Today, the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on Combating Corruption. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, manager of affairs Elmira Shagayeva, and heads and specialists of structural divisions of the Ministry.
Elvira Ziyatdinova, head of the sector for public service and personnel, responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses, Venera Manikhova, head of the legal department, and Azat Kurbanov, head of the department for economics, placement of state orders, and administration of payments, made presentations at the event.
Elvira Ziyatdinova briefed the meeting participants on the results of the anti-corruption monitoring of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the summary report prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy issues on the state of corruption and the implementation of anti-corruption policy measures in 2021.
Further, she dwelled in detail on the results of the work on combating corruption in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate institutions for the 1st half of 2022. Elvira Ziyatdinova recalled that this year, as part of the declaration campaign, 54 civil servants and 59 heads of subordinate institutions provided information on their income, expenses, property, and property obligations.
“An analysis of this information was carried out, and no violations were identified,” she said. “In general, in the reporting period, the sector received 2 messages about the implementation of other paid activities and 3 notifications about the conclusion of an employment contract with a citizen who held a civil service position. There were no anonymous reports of corruption offenses and the possibility of a conflict of interest.”
Venera Manikhova told the meeting participants about the results of the anti-corruption expertise of regulatory legal acts in 2022, Azat Kurbanov - about the procurement of goods, works, services, and the implementation of Federal Law No. 44-FZ dated 05.04. “On the contract system in the field of procurement, goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs”.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov summed up the results of the meeting. He outlined the need to consider a wider range of issues at the meetings of the anti-corruption commission. “The Ministry performs several key functions, including the protection, protection, and reproduction of forests, the provision of forest plots for rent, permanent (perpetual) use,” Ilgizar Zaripov emphasized. “All these areas are related to anti-corruption policy. A systematic analysis of our activities will help improve the efficiency of forest complex management.”
