The autumn silvicultural season of 2022 continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan, as of September 30 of this year. work was carried out to supplement forest crops on an area of 200 hectares and to prepare the soil for next year's forest crops on an area of 975 hectares.

“This week the harvesting of English oak acorns has begun. One of the first to start work was the specialists of the Agryzsky, Bilyarsky, and Zelenodolsky forestries of the republic,” said the head of the department of forest reproduction and afforestation Timur Galiev. “In total, according to the plan, this year it is necessary to prepare at least 11.5 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species.”

“Also, an inventory of planting material in basic forest nurseries is currently in full swing,” he added. “After analyzing and summarizing the data, it will be known how many seedlings are available for the 2023 silvicultural campaign.”
