Today Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov paid a working visit to the Alkeyevsky municipal district. There he took part in a festive event dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons. The event took place in Bazaar Mataki.
During his speech, Rais Gumerov thanked the veterans for their selfless work and contribution to the formation and development of the republic.
“This holiday is a symbol of the unity and continuity of generations, the connection of times,” he stressed. “Everything we have today is your merit. We are infinitely grateful to you for your wisdom, experience, and guidance, as well as the strength given to the restoration of the national economy in the difficult post-war years. With all my heart I wish you good health, happiness, well-being, warmth, and long life.”
The head of the municipal district Alexander Nikoshin, the head of the executive committee Ruslan Muradymov, and others also congratulated the veterans.
The event was accompanied by a rich cultural and entertainment program with the participation of creative teams of the region.
