You can find out about the time and place of planting in the regions of Tatarstan on the official portal of the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”: https://сохранимлес.рф/ or on the website of the Ministry: https://minleshoz.tatarstan.ru/vserossiyskaya-aktsiya-sohranim-les.htm.
Last year, as part of the All-Russian action “Let's Save the Forest” in the Republic of Tatarstan, 1.8 million pieces of planting material were planted on an area of 594 hectares.
Recall that republican environmental campaigns for planting trees have been carried out by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2011. Their goal is to foster a caring attitude towards the forest and to attract public attention to the problems of preserving and increasing forest resources. For 12 years, new forest plantations were planted in Tatarstan on an area of more than 8.1 thousand hectares, planting material in the amount of 32.1 million pieces was used, and the total number of participants exceeded 567 thousand people.
For reference. For the first time, the All-Russian campaign “Let’s Save the Forest” was held in the country in 2019. In three years, its participants planted 150 million trees. The environmental initiative has rightfully become one of the largest in Russia.
This year, the All-Russian action “Let's Save the Forest” started in early September in Kamchatka. Its goal is to plant 70 million trees to support the region hardest hit by wildfires. The organizers of the action are the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, ANO “Garden of Memory” and VOD “Forest Volunteers” with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The partners of the Save the Forest campaign are Rosatom State Corporation and Sberbank.
