From October 15, 2022, the fire season in the forests is officially closed in the Republic of Tatarstan. Nevertheless, space monitoring of the fire hazard situation will continue in the region, as well as ground patrols of the forest fund to prevent emergencies.
Since the beginning of the year, according to the information system for remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, 489 thermal points, 338 cases of fires in the territories bordering the forest fund on a total area of 15.4 hectares have been registered on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. No fires have been recorded in the forest fund.
During the fire-dangerous season, systematic propaganda and explanatory work was carried out among the population, and a set of measures was carried out for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests. In total, 1565 information letters were sent about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements in forests and 5 warnings were announced. In addition, 14 resolutions were issued for violation of fire safety rules in forests for a total amount of 123.5 thousand rubles.
Recall that to ensure timely detection, extinguishing, and prevention of forest fires on the territory of the forest fund in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 20 types II forest fire stations at forest enterprises and 5 types III forest fire stations at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”. Type II LPS is equipped with 229 units of various equipment, and type III LPS has 72 units of specialized equipment.
