Issues of forest protection discussed at the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District
Today, the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District discussed issues of forest protection. The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov, leading consultant of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry Anas Sengatullin, specialists from the territorial divisions of the FBU “Russian forest protection center”.
During the meeting, the results of the state forest pathological monitoring, and the results of the forest protection work performed in 2022 were considered, and tasks for the upcoming period were outlined. Particular attention was paid to the issues of preparation for carrying out measures to eliminate foci of pests in 2023.
