Pupils of the school forestry “Forest Bees” learned about the forestry of Udmurtia
Pupils of the school forestry “Forest Bees” MBOU “Secondary school No. 3” of the Bugulma district, together with the head of the association Ramilya Batullina, visited the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Udmurt Republic. Arif Aslanov, a specialist in the department of protection and reproduction of forests, met with the students.
During the meeting, Arif Aslanov told the children about the forestry of Udmurtia, ongoing work on the protection and reproduction of forests, ongoing environmental projects, and environmental campaigns “Save the Forest”, “Garden of Memory” and “Water of Russia”. In particular, he said that the main species growing in the region are pine and spruce.
Also, Arif Aslanov dwelled in detail on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, and the work of the enterprises Krasnaya Zvezda, Mozhginsky Timber Plant, Orion, and others.
Afterward, pupils of the forestry school “Forest Bees” saw quadrocopters and other equipment used to protect forests from fires.
At the end of the meeting, the students were presented with memorable gifts with the symbols of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Udmurtia. The guys thanked Arif Aslanov for the warm welcome and invited him to visit their republic.
