Since the beginning of 2022, state forest inspectors have carried out 28.6 thousand patrols of the lands of the forest fund of the republic. “During the patrol, the territory is inspected to identify and suppress violations of forest legislation, for example, the rules of sanitary and fire safety in forests,” explained Airat Akhmerov, head of the state control and supervision department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Since the beginning of the year, 160 violations have been identified. For all identified violations, administrative and criminal response measures have been taken.”
“Most of the protocols were drawn up for violating the rules of sanitary safety in the forests,” he added. “When patrolling, explanatory work is also carried out on the collection of dead wood and compliance with the requirements of forest legislation. More than 2,000 such conversations have been held in 10 months.”
Airat Akhmerov added that within the framework of the implementation of the federal state forest control (supervision), state forest inspectors carried out 58 control (supervisory) measures against controlled persons without interaction with controlled persons, 107 preventive visits and announced 26 warnings about the inadmissibility of violation of mandatory requirements.
