Today in the city of Kazan in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the VI meeting of the Council of public organizations and associations of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption was held. The event was timed to International Anti-Corruption Day.
The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries, departments, organizations, and institutions of the republic, including from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov.
During the event, topical problems of combating corruption in the system of ensuring economic security were considered. The participants discussed the implementation of the anti-corruption policy, the possibilities of increasing the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures, and improving anti-corruption legislation.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov spoke about the complex measures being implemented within the framework of the state program “Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2025”. “One of the key principles of the Ministry's activities is the principle of openness and transparency of public administration,” he stressed. “This applies both to informing citizens about the state of the forest industry, and the provision of public services, the procurement of machinery and equipment. In general, the main task that we set ourselves is to form a negative attitude towards corruption.”
The forum was organized by the Tatarstan Institute of Agribusiness Retraining, the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-Corruption Policy, the Civic Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.
