Elena Arkhipova, acting district forester of the Vishnevo-Polyansky district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky Forestry”, visited the MBOU “Mamykovsky secondary school” of the Nurlatsky district. There she held a lesson on the topic “Forest is our wealth” for 4th-grade students.
During the lesson, Elena Arkhipova told the students about forests, their functions, flora, and fauna.
“The forest is an amazingly diverse ecosystem that includes a large number of animal and plant species. The forest can be compared to a living organism with a very complex structure, which lives by its own rules. Each of the members of this community is closely connected with others,” she said.
At the end of the lesson, Elena Arkhipova reminded the children about the rules of fire and sanitary safety in the forests.
