Preparation for the fire season started at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan

Subject to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation as of May 18, 2011 No. 378 “On approval of the Rules on elaboration of the master plan for fire extinguishing on the territory of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation”, experts of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan elaborated a project of the Master plan for fire extinguishing on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for the fire season in 2014, which is at the moment being considered by the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District.

Subject to the Plans for fire extinguishing on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan for the fire season in 2014, the forces and means of forest-fire establishments of the Ministry were determined with the assistance of subdivisions of the Chief Administration of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as municipal formations for prevention, detection and liquidation of forest fires on the territory of the forest fund of the Republic.
