A delegation of foresters headed by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kharis Musin, visited the Bakhchisaray district of the Republic of Crimea

The Tatars familiarized with the work of state companies “Bakhchisaray forest management enterprise” and “Kuybyshev forest management enterprise”. Due to entrance of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian legislative field, there appeared a necessity to adjust the normative basis of the forestry of the peninsula accordingly. In order to improve the work of forest management companies of the Crimea, the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is willing to share its experience and provide methodological offers regarding creation of a new legislative and production structure using the example of its forestry management companies.

During the meeting with the head of the Bakhchisaray district, Ilmi Umerov, the prospects of district forestry development were discussed along with the assistance that can be rendered by the Tatars with regard to landscaping and beautification of the city.  In the context of rendering targeted assistance to the forestry of Bakhchisaray, Tatarstan is willing to provide sufficient amount of various planting material to plant forest vegetation considering the peculiarities of forest growth zoning of the Crimea.
