Marat Zaynullin from the Republic of Tatarstan won the 11th All-Russian Junior Forest Contest “Podrost” (“New growth”)

All in all, 101 people from 46 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the contest organized by the Federal Forestry Agency together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Moscow Region Forestry Committee and the Ministry of Education of Moscow Region.

       The graduate of the Forestry Secondary School, and the representative of school forestry “Nature heirs” (Arsk forestry), Marat Zaynullin, was rated the first in the category “Forest management and forest science”, and he was awarded with the Diploma of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency for his piece of work “Morphological variability of fir cones as an indicator of the quality of seed raw materials in the context of Arsk forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan”. He performed the work under the guidance of his biology teacher, N.I. Safiullina; N.M. Yatmanova, assistant professor of Kazan State Agricultural University, candidate of agricultural sciences, was his scientific consultant.
