Experts of UNIDO studied forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan within a week

In the course of its ordinary visit, the UNIDO delegation including Christian Susan, project leader, Kurt Ramskogler, the international expert, Boris Melnichuk, the national coordinator of UNIDO projects, Alexander Knorre, the national expert, visited Matyushinsky basic nursery of the State Budgetary Establishment “Scientific and Experimental Prigorodny Forestry”, Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in Saby municipal district, State Public Establishment “Mamadysh Forestry”, sites for afforestation in the coastal area of Mamadysh and Verkhny Uslon municipal districts.

     Experts of UNIDO visited the site designated for construction of the Scientific and Production Center “Oak forests of Russia”, genetic wildlife reserve of English oak and little-leaved linden, and familiarized with technologies of planting of oak with open root system at the State Public Establishment “Kaybitsy forestry” and the State Budgetary Establishment “Kaybitsy specialized seed forestry enterprise”.
