Fire safety drill was held on the territory of Laishevo forestry

Fire and chemical station of the 3rd type “Laishevo”, which is the fifth in the Republic, was opened before the start of the drill. The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Magdeev, Head of the Administration of Laishevo municipal district, Mikhail Afanasyev, Head of the Management of the organization for fire safety and performance of rescue and salvage operations of the State Establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, Konstantin Chanyshev were also present.
As envisioned by command and staff exercise for liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations, related to forest fires, due to careless fire handling, the fire started with ignition of dry grass spreading to the forestland and to the cottage building co-operative located on the bank of the river Kama.
