A new site of growing of the yellow lady's slipper was revealed in the forestland of Kamskoe Ustye district during inspection of the territory of the State nature reserve “Gora Lobach”

According to the Head of the State Public Nature Reserve “Dolgaya Polyana”, Vasily Nikitin, “This plant has been entered into the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan. Upon counting we found 586 such plants.  It is a rare thing to see such an amount of plants growing on a small area. Almost all flowers are on the stage of blossoming and only some of them have already ceased to blossom. Seeds of this flower sprout badly, and those that spring blossom only in 8-10 years, and that’s why this plant enjoys such attention of experts”.
