Experts and scientists from Russian regions, the CIS countries and Europe – Kazakhstan, Germany, Latvia, Sweden, became participants of the International Research and Practice conferences that started in Kazan

The conferences “Relevant issues regarding reforestation in Russia” and “Russian oak forests” were opened with welcoming words of the host party – the Minster of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, N.G. Magdeev.  Nail Magdeev acknowledged that the region is one of the leading regions in Russia and among other things it is famous for increased attention to the ecological issues. Forest is a framework of ecology, and in Tatarstan special attention is paid to reforestation and caring for forests, while forestry of the Republic is primarily the territory of innovations.

The Head of Administration for forest use and reforestation, M.S. Doronin., greeted participants of the conference on behalf of the Federal Forestry Agency. He acknowledged that such meetings of scientists, as well as experts of education and practitioners are very important both for revelation of problem issues of forestry management in the Republic and for elaboration of efficient measures for its improvement.
