June 5th is the World Environment Protection Day. Inspectors of the State Public Nature Reserve “Kichke-Tan” under the guidance of the Head, Akhli Fayzullin, and pupils of local school organized an ecological Saturday campaign on the coast of the river Izh. River coasts are paved with glass and plastic bottles, bags, old car tires and rusted car parts – and all that is man-impacted. Having armed with trash bags, participants of the Saturday work campaign cleaned the territory for several hours. Upon completing the work, A.G. Fayzullin addressed the pupils: “We all tried to clean a part of the territory, and it is far from being small. If everyone who cares for our future takes the trouble to find the litter bin, I think we will make our planet cleaner!”
The Saturday work campaign ended with a celebration. Pupils in national Tatar and Udmurt costumes staged a short concert, and then a tea party was held.
