Delegation of the European Economic Commission of the United Nations visited the Sabine forestry

Sabineforestry-manager ofthe Republic of Tatarstan, locatedin the territory ofthe eightadministrative regions,called the capital ofTatarstanforestry.The total area offorestis 60.4thousand.Ha.Sabineforestryenterpriseis a good exampleof a full cycle-from growingseedsto the production ofwood products.

72ndSession of the Committeeon Forestsand ForestIndustryEconomic Commission for Europeof the United Nations(UNECE)was heldin Kazan inthe period from18to 21 November.The event was organizedin conjunction withthe Federal Forestry Agency,Ministry of Foreign Affairsand the Ministry ofForestry of the Republicof Tatarstan.The key themes ofthe sessionwas the contributionof forests ina green economy,the situation on thedomestic and international marketsfor timber products,sustainable forest managementas amethod of regulatingclimate change.Participation in theconference were167experts from 35 countries.
