RT Ministry of Forestry implemented a set of measures aimed at preventing forest fires

In anticipation of the fire season in all forest areas it was organized work on fire fighting arrangement of forests. The Ministry entrusted with the implementation of measures of fire safety and extinguishing forest fires, as well as state environmental supervision in the field of protection and use of specially protected natural areas of regional importance.

      There is an ongoing creation of mineralized strips and fire breaks. These works will be carried out over 3111 km. Simultaneously, the care of the existing mineralized strips laid in last year's season at 6888 km.

         In addition, the forest fund is planned to build 16 km of roads, 195 km of roads to be repaired, are cleared quarterly glade. This work will be performed on 73 hectares.
