The young artist Xenia Sosnova from Nurlatsky School Forestry Unit at the head of a new project “Gift to the Forestry Establishment”

Xenia Sosnova is an excellent 9th grader of the Secondary School No.3 of Nurlat town, and she has already graduated from the art school. Within two years, she is not only a participant of environmental activities, but also an active initiator of many innovations. Her speech at the Republican Ecology Olympiad where Xenia told how such projects of the school forestry unit (the head –T.I.Chibidina) as the “Forest of Victory”, the “Walk of Memory”, the “Live, the Forest!” as well as the Rainbow project and the Clean Forests project are put into practice was highly appreciated by jury.

The young artist was at the head of a new project “Gift to the Forestry Establishment”. The ecology-related posters made by Xenia and other members of the school forestry unit and presented to the forestry establishment were placed in forest areas; they encourage population to protect forests from fires.
