In the Nurlatsky Municipal District a large-scale work to make students legally informed has been done. In 35 schools of the district the legal lessons coincided with the All-Russian Day of Legal Assistance to Children were given. During the lessons the schoolchildren were explained the legal responsibility of minors, the necessity to be tolerant towards people of other nationalities and religions, the basic rules of conduct outdoors aimed at preventing child injury and unlawful acts.
In the Palace of Culture of the city a round table for the pupils of city schools “The rights and duties of minors” has been held. During the event, the Head of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan Marina Zaitseva, the staff of the Legal Department of the executive committee of the district, guardianship and education, Minors Affairs Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nurlatsky District gave individual consultations on legal issues, including the protection of rights of juvenile orphans and legally free children, and on issues of legal assistance to the parents or legal representatives of pupils. The pupils and their parents asked questions concerning the uniform state exams, health care, pensions and employment.
During the day the notary offices and the public prosecutor's offices received citizens to mark the Day of Legal Assistance to Children.
