So, the experts of Baltasinsky State Nature Sanctuary carried out raids together with the inspector of the Office for the Protection and Use of Wildlife Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Baltasinsky District Khakimzyanov A.G. and the district police officer of the Baltasinsky District Police Department second lieutenant R. Zaripov.
In 2015, during the regional state supervision in the field of protection and use of regional specially protected natural reservations, the inspection service of the state nature sanctuaries has carried out 2042 raids, found 765 violations, of which 52% are violations of fishery regulations, 39% are violations of the procedure for travel and parking on the specially protected natural reservations of Tatarstan.
According to the violations found, 650 protocols have been drawn up, 51.5% of them – administrative offense protocols, 48.5% – on the taking of illegal fishing tools (nets); 536 decisions have been issued, including 60.1% – on administrative punishment as a fine. The total amount of administrative fines amounted to 1 268.0 thousand rubles imposed on 1 legal entity and 327 individuals. By year end, 50% of penalty amounts were recovered. 36 claims for damages to natural complexes of sanctuary totaling 200.5 thousand rubles have been made against violators; 83.7 thousand rubles have been recovered.
During the state environmental supervision 487 tools of administrative offense (nets) have been taken by the sanctuary inspectors. On average, one inspector of the sanctuary found 16 violations in 2015.
The administrations of the sanctuaries together with the district departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Office for the Protection and Use of Wildlife Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and other authorities have carried out more than 300 joint inspection raids, during which 130 violations have been found.
