On July 30 the regional stage of the Russian National Competition “The Best Wildfire Fighter 2016” to be held

In order to improve the status of blue-collar occupation, to assist in engaging young people in training and employment on the blue-collar jobs, to promote the achievements and best practices in forestry, as well as to increase the level of readiness of subordinated institutions to wildfire extinction on July 30, 2016 in the premises of the Prigorodnoye Forestry (in the Birch grove of Derbyshki Village) the II stage of the Russian National Professional Skill Competition “The Best Wildfire Fighter 2016” is to be held. The wildfire brigades from all over the republic will take part in this competition. The program includes a theory test of knowledge of the current legislation and rules for wildfire extinction, and active task (physical training and obstacle course) which will be assessed by a team of experts with many years’ experience in firefighting. The competition will start at 10.00. The opening ceremony of the competition will be held at 9.00.
