As part of the "Forest Week -2018" large-scale cleaning of the forest from debris and windfall took place in the forest fund of the Prigorodnyi forest district, which is popularly known as the forest in Dubravnaya Street. Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, also took part in the environmental campaign. The forest was also cleaned by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Prigorodnyi forest district, the Prigorodnyi forestry enterprise and residents of nearby houses.

"Our foresters are constantly engaged in cleaning forests. But we are doing similar campaigns to draw people's attention to the conservation of the forest fund. It's no secret that the weather caused a lot of deadwood, there are problems with unauthorized dumps. And we want to convey that the forest needs to be protected and not littered", said Ravil Kuzyurov.

The environmental campaign "Forest Week-2018" is held throughout Tatarstan from September 8 to 14; 132 events are planned in total.

The students of lyceum of the Cheremshan town decided to participate in the "Forest Week-2018" campaign. The students, together with foresters, cleared forest areas of quarters 78 and 80 of the Kazankinskiy forest district of the State Public Institution “Cheremshanskiy Forest District” from clutter and debris. This place is not chosen by chance. Forest cultures serve as especially protected forests and the favorite resting place for Cheremshan residents. The campaign was attended by 28 people.

Employees of Aznakaevskiy forest district and Aznakaevskiy forestry enterprise cleared the territory of the “Ilkham Chishmese” spring, located on the territory of the forest fund, near the Aznakaevo-Dzhalil road. Within several hours of work, a whole truck of solid domestic waste was collected - glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags, disposable tableware. Also, forestry officers painted fences, tables and gazebos, mowed the grass. The collected garbage was taken to the landfill.

The nature protection campaign "Forest Week - 2018" is held from September 8 to 14 in all districts of Tatarstan. Within a week, foresters conduct such activities as: harvesting of solid household waste and wood waste in the forest fund, environmental lessons in general education institutions, improvement of recreation areas in the forest fund, harvesting of seed-bearing raw materials, installation of additional landmarks and banners near federal and republican roads. In total of 132 events are planned for the republic.

Within the framework of the "Forest Week-2018" environmental campaign, the specialists of the SPI “Zelenodolskiy Forest District” cleaned the forest of solid household waste in a suburban area, not far from the Mayak sports complex. Forest area has long turned into a favorite recreation place for inhabitants of Zelenodolsk. Together with foresters, the event was attended by employees of the sports complex, students of the Lyceum named after Karpov and schoolchildren of secondary school No. 14 - in total of 64 people. The territory of the forest fund was cleared on the area of ​​3.5 hectares within the framework of the campaign.

Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic cleared the forest from debris, windfall and dead trees in the plantation in the Derbyshki village of Vysokogorsky district forestry. This event was held within the framework of the implementation of the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of August 23, 2018 No. 2239-r "On implementation of the environmental protection campaign "Forest Week-2018".

The place for cleaning was chosen not accidentally. In this territory of the state forest fund there is a sanatorium and summer cottages, and coniferous forest plantation is a favorite recreation place for local residents. Garbage, as a rule, is left here. Empty bottles of strong drinks, plastic bags. In a few hours the foresters managed to collect a whole garbage truck.

The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has extensive experience in organizing and conducting such campaigns. Over the past 8 years, as part of the environmental campaign “Clean forests of Tatarstan” a lot of work has been done to clean up the litter of forests. In particular, this year solid household waste, dead wood and fallen trees were already collected and transported in the amount of 2.5 thousand cubic meters in Tatarstan. "Forest Week-2018" will be held from 8 to 14 September, within the framework of which 132 events are planned to be held in the republic.

Fire control measures have been strengthened in Tatarstan, the number of patrols has increased, and the forces and means of fire extinguishing have been brought to the state of readiness. Currently, the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan is dominated by 4-5 classes of fire danger, - Federal Budgetary Institution "Avialesokhran" reported.

From September 7 to September 13, 2018, the high fire danger of forests (class 4) will remain locally in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, an emergency forest fire hazard is expected in some western regions (class 5), the Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.

Due to the high fire hazard, foresters do not recommend residents of Tatarstan to admit violations of fire safety rules. It is forbidden to burn stubble, straw residues, and dry grass. Violators of fire safety shall be fined, for citizens from 1500 to 3000 rubles, on officials - from 10 000 to 20 000.

First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov, spoke on the TV channel "Tatarstan24", during his speech he invited all residents of Tatarstan to participate in the "Forest Week-2018" environmental campaign, which will be held on September 8-14. During the coming week, foresters plan to conduct such activities as: harvesting of solid household waste and wood waste in the forest fund, conducting environmental lessons in general education institutions, improving recreation facilities in the forest fund, harvesting seed-bearing raw materials, installing additional posts and banners near federal and republican roads. A total of 132 events are planned for the republic.

As part of the program, a vote was taken, where spectators were asked whether they would go to harvest forest areas. 70% of respondents answered that they would gladly go if they were not busy at work. Emir Bedertdinov urged residents to go out to clean with the children; participation in such actions brings the younger generation careful attitude to the forest.

The start of the campaign will be given on Saturday - September 8, at 10.00. Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and volunteers will clean the forest of debris and windfall in the forestry of the Derbyshki village, near the Pribolnichnaya street. Cleaning the forest park on Dubravnaya Street with the participation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov will take place on September 11 at 16.00. The event will also be attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, volunteers, local residents. Everyone can take the initiative and make the forest cleaner. At the end of the event, a field kitchen is waiting for all participants.

Opening of a monument to Zarif Muhammatgaleevich Safargaliyev, a local forester of the Arskiy forest district, where he served for 6 years, took place in Arskiy forest district. The monument was dedicated to all foresters of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the Arskiy municipal district Ilshat Nuriev, the Head of the Sabinskiy municipal district Rais Minnikhanov, the forestry rangers of the Arskiy and Sabinskiy forest districts, the grandson of the forester - the General Director of PAO "Tattelecom" Lotfulla Shafigullin took part in the opening of the monument. Namely he offered the idea of ​​creating a monument to his grandfather, and in his person - to all foresters of Tatarstan, who preserve and increase the forests of our republic.

In conclusion, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov together with the guests planted memorable trees of blue spruce. This gesture was symbolic, because the main thing in the life of foresters is to plant trees for the benefit of the future generation.

With the aim of suppressing violations of forest legislation in the territory of Tatarstan, the employees of the Bilyarskiy forest district jointly with the employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a raid on checking the accompanying documents for transportation of timber and lumber in the framework of Lesovoz Operation at the stationary post of the Kama Road Patrol Service. During the operation, 6 vehicles carrying timber were inspected. During this operation violations of the rules of timber transportation and filling of accompanying documents were not revealed.

During the working trip, Ravil Kuzyurov got acquainted with the state of affairs in the State Public Institution “Kaleykinskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Kaleykinskiy Forestry Enterprise”. The Minister inspected the logging in the Kaleykinskiy district forestry. He also got acquainted with the nursery farm in the basic forest nursery, where he also talked with the workers who carried out care of the seedlings. Seedlings of the oak tree are now grown in the nursery of the Kaleykinskiy forestry enterprise, which in the future will replenish the forest fund of Tatarstan. Cultivation of the oak tree is a painstaking and difficult work.

Also at the moment, seedlings of the main forest-forming species, such as common pine, European spruce, Siberian larch are grown in the nursery. The Minister checked the quality of forest plantations of 2018 on the territory of the forest fund of the Kaleykinskiy forest district. This year, new forests on the area of ​​33 hectares were planted in the forest fund of the Kaleykinskiy forest district.

The Minister also got acquainted with the objects of the State Public Institution “Almetyevskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution “Almetyevskiy Forestry Enterprise”. Ravil Kuzyurov examined the planting of forest crops, which were planted this year on the area of ​​87 hectares.

Afterwards, a meeting was held with forest district and forestry enterprise workers, where various issues of forest management were discussed. In his speech, the Minister drew the attention of the staff to the quality and timeliness of the work performed, and also instructed to take into account the characteristics of the forest-steppe zone when selecting crops for planting.
